CINCO - Team Grappling (in house)

Dear Fellow Infight Clubs,

We hope everything is going well for you and your students. On Saturday, February 3, 2024, we will host our first Team Grappling event, modelled after Quintet, and we’re calling it CINCO!

We are keeping this event small (4 teams of 5). Each team will consist of 5 adult (18+) grapplers from the same academy: 3 white belts, and 2 blue. Entry fee for each team is $250 ($50/ athlete)

We are using this event as a trial run for larger events in the future and so the cost is minimal and just to cover awards. Once your athletes have all registered, we will ask for your starting line up and one back up athlete. See the rules below for more information on the Team Event.

We will host 3 No-Gi Superfight Matches in between the first rounds and final to give team athletes a chance to catch their breath. Matches will be for Purple, Brown or Black Belts. If you or your students would like a superfight, register with the same smoothcomp link below. Superfight Matches will follow ADCC rules. If we are struggling to make 3 matches, we will match with other clubs not on the team event invite list. Entry fee is $25 for Superfight matches.
