Prairie Grappling Series

Welcome! 

Get ready for the debut of the Prairie Grappling Series, bringing the heat of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling to Melville, Saskatchewan! Featuring divisions for both youth and adults, covering Gi, No-Gi and ABSOLUTE No-Gi (18+, white and color), this isn't your average tournament – it's about igniting excitement and pushing the boundaries of BJJ in Saskatchewan. We're opening our doors to all grappling clubs in Saskatchewan. Let's get together and showcase the incredible talent right here in our province!
Participation in this tournament will contribute towards eligibility for the 2025 SMAA Provincials.

Event Details:

- Official Event Date: Saturday, May 4th, 2024 – Youth starting at 9:00 am (weigh ins from 8:00), Adults starting at 1:00pm

- Location: 543 Main Street, Melville, Saskatchewan

Registration Deadline:
- Please note that registration may close at any time in consideration of space requirements or if we meet our division cap.

- Registration Deadline: May 1st, 2024

Check Day:

- May 4th, 2024 - Before the athletes first match.

- Please ensure you are in the correct weight class. Refunds can be requested via your Smoothcomp account if there are no competitors in your weight class and you prefer not to be merged into another bracket.

Registration Fees:

$70 for 1, 2 or all 3 divisions.

Live Stream:

Due to limited space, we are asking spectators to take advantage of our FREE live stream of the event when possible. 

Weigh-Ins:

- Competitors will weigh in with the Gi (or no-gi if exclusively doing no-gi) on before their first match. There is only one opportunity to check weight. Failure to make weight will result in immediate disqualification. No changes to weight divisions will be allowed on tournament day, and no refunds will be issued.
